Washington, DC [6/10/14] – Today, Representative Tim Walz voted in favor of a bill on the House floor that would expand access to care for veterans by making it easier for certain veterans to see doctors closer to home if they so choose. Veterans would be eligible if they reside more than 40 miles away from a VA medical facility or if they can’t be seen within VA wait time goals.
